When you join the Champion’s Rise Training Program, you’re getting professional, structured training sessions over a 21 week period, with the most experienced MMA coaches in Calgary who have a proven record of training fighters to world level organizations like the UFC and Bellator.
You also receive all your training gear including Champion’s Rise branded 16oz and 8oz gloves, 2 pieces of custom uniform (eg. rash guard / crop top and tights / shorts), Champion’s Rise branded shin guards and hand wraps and ongoing support through a private forum.
The program ends with the ultimate bucket list experience, the Champion’s Rise Amateur Fight Finale, which is also included in the cost of the program.
Option 1: PAY IN FULL: $500 Deposit to hold your spot for the Tryout. The Deposit is usually collected after you have come and taken a tour of our facility and met our supportive knowledgeable team. The remaining balance of $1,800 is due within one week of the Tryout you attend. Total cost $2,300
Option 2: PAYMENT PLAN: $500 Deposit to hold your spot for the Tryout. Same as in option 1. The remaining balance is $2,000 and can be paid in 12 payment installments over the first 3 months of the program. Total cost $2,500
This intensive training program brings MMA to everyday men and women. It is designed for those with little to no prior experience in martial arts to give them a safe, supportive, and friendly introduction to this thrilling sport.
Whether your current fitness levels are zero, or you’re an experienced athlete, Champion’s Rise will test you like never before!
You must be 18+ and complete the requisite medical clearances to experience competing in our Finale event. As with all intensive fitness programs you are encouraged to chat with your doctor regarding any health conditions prior to commencing.
STEP 1: FOUNDATIONS AND BULLET PROOFING
This phase one of our program is designed to build your strength, agility, and conditioning. You will learn basic movements and techniques that are fundamental for MMA. The styles we focus on are BJJ, Muay Thai and wrestling. By the end of the phase one you will be physically bullet proofed and ready for the next stage of your training.

STEP 2: TECHNIQUE IN MOTION WITH INCREASED RESISTANCE
The time has come for you to put what you’ve learned into practice. Now that your fitness and functional strength have come a long way, it’s time your coaches will begin to introduce light contact drills in striking, groundwork and wrestling as you continue to build on the MMA foundations you have learned in phase one.

STEP 3: PRESSURE & MENTAL STRENGTH
You are about to embark on the final leg of your journey, and you have been given all the tools necessary for success. To ensure you are prepared to make the walk and perform under the bright lights and live audience in front of family and friends, your training sessions will consist of live MMA sparring, live drills and recovery work. Your coaches will now focus more on mental training so that when it comes time for battle night – whether physical or mental, there isn’t anything holding back what’s inside!

You do not have to fight at the end, it’s what you’re comfortable with. By the end of the program you are all set to compete in the Champion’s Rise Finale, an MMA Fight Night worth waiting for. If you choose to compete it will be a one-of-a-kind event where family, friends and coaches come together and celebrate the amazing mental and physical transformations undergone by our competitors during 5 months of training! Win or lose, there is only victory because each competitor took on an experience that has led and transformed them as individuals.

All fitness levels are welcome, and no prior MMA experience is needed to begin the Champion’s Rise 21 week training program. It is designed for men and women from all walks of life who want to get fit, learn new skills and step outside their comfort zone for a life-changing experience.

Everyone has a different reason for signing up for Champion’s Rise. It’s this reason, or your ‘why’, that keeps you motivated to show up day after day, until you reach the end of this life-changing challenge and step inside the octagon.
To compete in the Champion’s Rise Finale event you must be 18 years old, but there is no upper age limit. All competitors are required to pass a medical examination before stepping inside the octagon.
